Seat belt bolt.

What should i do if my driver seat belt bolt won't tighten all the way. I think i might have stripped the plate the bolt goes into. What should i do??
Get a bigger bolt, or buy a seat belt bolt holder thingy plate for it. Is the bolt hole welded to the chassis of the car??
Or is the bolt hole a separate metal piece??
I think it is welded on there but not sure.
The bolt stays in place if you don't move in the seat that much.
The bad thing is that my car has no warranty, and it is a daily driver.
Feedback needed badly, and ASAP.

what do you mean not tighten all the way?

can you provide a snap shot of what you are talking about? (how big of gap)

what required you to take it off in the first place?

Seat belt bolt.

I had to chek on my new Alpine speaker i just put in a few weeks ago, and the speakers were makin weird noises, so you have to take off the seat belt and hanger hook to access the back tray to get to the speakers, you have to do it to both sides to get it off, to access the two clips[one on each side] to take the back tray off to get to the rear speakers.
I found out the rear speakers were hittin on the factory mounts i use, and was puttin the things back in place. Didn't want my car lookin like a junk. Plus i has to do a radiator flush for my car, i was runnin' on water to flush the system. just got it flushed today, and filled up wit Toyota red coolant, and had to change the thermo stat, wit new water inlet o-ring.

Yeha there is no gap, it will tighten down and get loose, i think the threads on the hole is grinded down from boltin' it down so much. Might get a new bolt alittle bigger than the factory one. Just hope i don't get in a wreck. Since seat belt not bolted in all the way.

Go to Autozone, They have some there.

when you tighten the bolt dont go all the way. Just tight enough and let the thread lock set. it will keep the bolt from coming out but i would replace it if it becomes worse.
