Brembo doesn't make cross drilled AND slotted rotors, it's either cross drilled or slotted.

As to why . . . I'm too lazy to type. Use the search function. :drinking:

Brembo only sells cross drilled or slotted. As was said above, the only way to get xdrilled and slotted is to have a machine shop do it

Plain brembo rotors are fine too. The slots might help, but not tremendously. There is more cosmetic effect with those rotors, if people are looking that close at your wheels; thats all I see in them.

Brembo does NOT sell any x-drilled or slotted OEM replacement rotors. Machine shops buy Brembo Blanks and do it.

The puny stock rotors were bad enough as they are, once you slot/drill them, they become even worse.

I suggest anyone who wants good stopping power to buy EricSol's big rotor kit.

Impact, Brembo does offer Xdrilled or slotted as part of their sport line

"The Brembo Sport discs are premium OEM replacement units that meet or exceed all vehicle manufacturers’ specifications and tolerances. They are fully compatible with stock calipers wheels and other chassis components, easily mounting onto the vehicle. The brake discs are built in high carbon cast iron and they are available either drilled or slotted. The brake discs are then planted for corrosion resistance and for a bold, aggressive appearance. "

Brembo Big Brake Upgrade for Solara

Postby TRD_solaRa » Sun Sep 19, 2004 1:32 pm

I found this . . . http://www.geocities.com/afanasyev.geo/SolaraBrembo.html

Image
Brake Kit Includes:
* 330x30 mm Cross Drilled or Slotted Discs
* Brembo Four Piston F50 Calipers
* Stainless Steel Braided DOT Approved Brake Lines
* High Performance Brake Pads
* Billet Aluminum Mounting Brackets
* Mounting Hardware

Brake kit works with 17", 18" and 19" Wheels. Depending from your wheel design you might have to use H&R Spacers to provide enough clearance for Brembo caliper. Calipers can be ordered in Black, Red or Silver. High Performance Brake Pads included with the kit are suited for high end street use as well as light track application. Kit works with standard Master Cylinder and doesn't affect ABS or Traction Control.
MSRP: $1895

I don't think that kit is available any more. It was custom made and was never a huge seller. Its also $1900 for just the fronts.
