19's

19's

Postby DonkeKong » Mon Sep 13, 2004 7:56 pm

I read somewhere online that 19s will fit on a solara. Would they still fit after lowering springs and a kit? Also, for tires is it worth it to get performance tires? I prob would never end up getting perf tires later if i didn't now, but they seem so expensive would it be worth it or would i better off putting the money into sumthing else? Finally... check these out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7921572332&category=43959&sspagename=WDVW. Would those be okay? I dunno if RVM Titus is a real company or not, and if those would be durable. They do have a good warranty, also that seems like a good price for 19s and I like how they look. So thanks in advance for all opinions/advice, Tristan

edit: I've been researching this, and I'm kinda getting the idea that this won't fit. So, my new question is... what is a good cheap site for wheels and tires then. I checked out discounttiredirect.com. That seems like a good site, but it also seems kinda expensive. Would it be better to just get eBay wheels, or does ne1 know of a site where u can wheels and tires cheaper? Thanks a lot, Tristan

http://www.wheelsnext.com has some good deals

whatever you do tho do NOT order from wheelguyz.com...they charged me 100 for mounting and balancing (they said it was required for shipping) and they weren't even balanced right, i had to take em into a shop to have them remounted and balanced...they also took 17 days for shipping when they said it would be shipped within 1 business day...they also screwed up my order and gave me Wanlis instead of Nankangs...it was not a good experience

I got 19s, not installed, but Im pretty sure theyll fit. Lip rolling might be necessary and a drop is doable.

I'm running 19x 7.5 with 225 tires and i didn't need to roll the rear fenders. Im also using a 2mm spacer in the rear just to push out the wheel a little bit more and i dont rub unless i take a hard turn.

19s fit..Image

As for your rims, you get what you pay for. Expect to pay at LEAST 400 each rim for a good set, not including the tires of course.

alrit, thx for the input. I'm gunna end up getting 18's after all just cuz 19s are so expensive, and I wanted to get chrome too. So, I'm prob getting the panther valera wheels or american racing wheels that look the same pretty much. Thx, Tristan
