i just installed this thing and i relaized that on bumps the tip seems to be hitting the bottom part of the muffler. is therer any real proper way to correct this?

The tip of the muffler is pivoting back to the muffler????
Or are you lowered and the tip is hitting the ground?

Wait a sec i just checked my TRD muffler and there is just a pipe that comes from the muffler. Nothing is loose for me...

What exactly are you talking about?

PS. Move to aftermarket gen 1-1.5...

hmm

unbolt the muffler, but do not take the bolts off.

you should be able to have some play afterwards. position the muffler tip away from the bumper. put a sock or something to ensure a gap stays b/w the bumper and tip.

re-tighten the bolts.
