Headlights

Postby SleeperSolara » Fri Sep 24, 2004 6:12 am

No nothin' wrong wit your headlights, when i bought my car about 2 months ago. It looked like what you are describing. So, in other words, the driver is head-on headlights[ they point directly straight].
And the passenger points straight but alittle to the right. I don't know why they did it that way at the factory.
Try puttin' you car in a garage and light teh car to a wall and see if the lights from both sides[left&right] line up.

THey do that so as not to blind on coming drivers, for those who have bought JDM celica (6th gen lights) they know their lights face the opposite direction..and they CONSTANTLY blind oncoming drivers. But the real significant differentiation could be seen when its really foggy!

The height of the light can be adjust in somewhere near the headlight but I don't know how to explain where it is. :)

Search for "headlight adjustment"

theres plenty of info there to help you... usually the driver side is supposed to be aimed lower than the passenger so you dont blind oncoming traffic.. please do this... its annoying! good luck though :D
