What voltage is your car running under?

What voltage is your car running under?

For those who have a volt meter or an SAFC II, at night when you're at a stop and have your foot on the break or when you roll your windows up or down and just hold it there what does your voltage read? While my foot is on the break after a good warm up it dips to as low as 11.8-12.6 and 13.2 when just driving or in neutral.

Just curious if this is normal and preventable? I have upgraded my ground wires btw if that helps any.

I monitor voltage on my radar detector and on my nav.

Under no load at idle it should be 12+
With A/C blasting and a system on, I've seen it dip as low as 11.2 or 11.3
While the car is running i usually see 13+ with no load and 12.5+ with A/C on.
My voltage goes as high as 14.1

It also all depends on your battery.
The yellow top battery really helped my voltage
Your cars electronics are designed to handle 10.5v-14.4 or so
