Passenger door never closes and makes rattling noise

my passenger door doesn't close all the way unless you slam it shut, and there's some rattling noise comming from either the window or inside the door when I hit around 40mph and above. I've checked all I could but couldn't figure either problem out.

wanted to avoid taking the door apart, one thing I found, if the window is open at all, the door closes each time, so the top of the window must be hitting something, but I couldn't see anything wrong, any ideas?

has your car ever been in an accident? Sounds like the hinges aren't lined up right

Sounds like the door is out of alignment, like warped hinges. You haven't been swinging on the door with the window down have you? Anyway, check the striker plate on the jamb and see if there is unnatural wear on the top (like grooves or finish is worn off). Take it to a bodyshop and see if they can line it back up or put shims in it.
