If you have the horn blowing when you arm/disarm your alarm, you have an aftermarket add on alarm on top of your factory system. If you want to shut of the horn you can either 1) disable the horn or 2) remove the aftermarket alarm.

Why don't you get an aftermarket Alarm? Cause the alarm horn sound that goes off with the factory alarm is very loud and good cause it will attract more attention if someone tries to FAQ with your car. I had the stock alarm with my Solara, but I bought a Clifford Intelliguard 7000IQ...which is an awesome alarm. I haven't had any complaints. Plus the dude that wired the alarm for me was able to hook up the factory alarm with the Clifford horn so when the alarm goes off it's double the sounds...the Clifford horn and the stock horn...it's VERY LOUD...I have yet to meet someone who's alarm is louder than mines when it goes off, unless they have an air horn. It's also good too cause when I arm and unarm the car I have the option of it being silent, or hearing the beep. And the beep only comes from the Clifford alarm...so the horn doesn't beep...plus it's a nice sound....just something for you to think about. :)
