URGENT: Brake Question

URGENT: Brake Question

Postby Guest » Mon Nov 04, 2002 12:04 am

Are there any difference in the brake for Solara 1999 and 2000? (3.0V6) And are there any different in the brake for Camry 1997-2000 (3.0V6) and Solara 2000? (3.0V6)

The reason I am asking is because I am planning to get some brakelines from goodridge. I saw that this car has the line on
http://www.nemesisracing.com/nemesis/mike/

That's why I am wondering if I can put the brakeline on my Solara 2000 (V6) as well.

Thanks guys!

No difference. BTW, goodridge doesn't manufacture the brake lines for TRD anymore. They had quality issues when they were sold, plus the lack of sales killed the idea...so they should be discontinued by now.

Really? Ack... cos on the website, it says they have brakelines for Camry
http://www.goodridge.net/us_carapps/usca_toyota.html
I hope they didn't discontinue this yet =(

Oh yeah, what kind of quality issue do they have?? I certainly hope they won't fail on me though since that will waste of whole point of getting SS brake lines :(

Thanks for your help Flip! (you are one of the most knowledgable guys on here :) )

Hmmmm...I guess goodridge got the rights to selling it to the public now. I'm sure if they're selling it, they've resolved the problems they were having in the past. The TRD issued ones were the ones with the problem. :)
