lol..there's something about it that's just so awesome..i can't figure out what it is. i think it's just cause it sets like a tone or a mood in the car..like "atmosphere"..lol, i know i'm crazy.

heheh..well i guess if all of the solaraguys start getting colored dome lights i can take credit for setting a trend!!

and you (flip!!) said that the california is the major trend setter!

LOL, colored lights on a Camry/Solara dash is a thing of the past. 1) We were the first to get the Indiglos on our platform since Initial K is here in SoCal and my friend was the prototype for them and 2) We've changed the dash bulbs back in 99 as well. Definitely an age old topic we've already talked about way in the past back on Camryman's Passing Lane Forums. ;)

Well ask them to make one with a black face! That's the only reason we're even discussing it because we don't like the current white faced indiglos.

It may be old topic, but at that time there are no LED yet... :P

Check this out:

From old boring bulb to super bright LED!
(PS: Anybody got a hook up for this thing?)

I thought i saw a place selling LED bulbs for domelights for like $20 on the internet.

No LEDs for what?

Super bright LED Xenon bulbs? I had no idea they could make such things??? Xenon is a gas, LED is a semiconductor! Never heard anyone dope the substrate of an LED with Xenon gas.

Am I missing something here??

not the colored lights on the dash!! the colored dome lights...so instead of regular light when the door is open or the map lights are on, it's green, or red, or purple. veryyy nice.

you damn californian's and always wanting to be "trend setters!"
lol..(i'm playing here! no one get down my throat!) always wanting to think that everyone else thinks that cali is the sh*t!! heheeh...
