Hella water on rear pass. floor...

Yes it is called the evaporator, sorry about that. This happened on my first car "1989 Mitsubishi Gallant", apparently there had been a large amount of mildew and dirt which developed in the pan and clogged up the drain. The mechanic that I took the car too used a squeze bottle of commercial cleaner and injected it up into the drain hose under the car, as I remember it worked pretty well. Not sure if this is what is going on in your car but it seems to be the best theory at this time. PS, on an ironic side note, about a year ago someone cut me off and forced my into a ditch of water in my 99 SLE and by the time I had it pulled out the back of the car was completely submerged in water. I vacumed it all out and there has been no side effects what so ever. LOVE MY SOLARA!!

Does water pool on the ground when your A/C is on???

I believe so, but I will start to pay more attention now since it may all be tied together with the AC system and what not.
