Sway Bar Installation

Postby 2002greenhornet » Mon Oct 04, 2004 2:40 pm

I did a search and nothing came up on rear sway bar installation. Probably because it's so easy! It looks like its only four bolts. Anything special to look out for?

Thanks
Steve

Solarat,

What's the right thread? I thought Tutorials would be the one to ask how to do stuff...

Thanks

Thanks, already got it installed. It was a breeze. Put the car up high on jack stands. I got the old one out without even taking a wheel off, but I removed the heat shield between the exhaust and the tank. I took off the left wheel to help get the fatter new one in. Took about an hour complete, including clean up. I haven't had much chance to test drive it yet, but from what I can tell driving around the neighborhood, it does make a difference.

It came with a little tube of lube for each bushing. I emptied one into each and spread it evenly with my little finger. There's plenty of lube in there, I'm sure. Where do you get upgraded bushings?
