Ok this is bothering me for the past few days. I drive my car and its all normal and all but when I press the gas alittle harder to get the car going hard it makes this cracking sounds around the headers area assuming. Sounds as if its saying cadilac cadilac. Its the sound you hear when you put dices in a round ball and shake it or tapping on a plastic cup very fast. To me Im guessing its the exhaust system being stock and I have an intake which I gun my car too much causing a back pressure overload. Is this correct? I cant afford the full exhaust yet but is this the reason why Its making the sound when I gun the car because too much input and too much restriction on the exhuast? What can I do? Has anyone having the same problem? I have a manuel transmission.

You may have a blown donut gasket on the exhaust manifold. Check for any leaks around where the bottom of the manifold meets the forward end of the exhaust pipe. Have someone rev the car while you listen at the manifold to see if that is the problem. Easy (if you have smallish hands) to fix. (If that is the problem) Good luck.
