Green Interior Lighting

Blue lights

This is cool. I knew someone would ask this question soon. I've been experimenting on blue lights on my silver 02 solara. Just get a bunch of blue 194s. The first two, I installed them on my rear plate number lights. It's very easy to install, give it a try. It looks really cool at night. I have no idea if that's street legal or not. Well, it's been a week and no cop has told me it's "wrong".
What I'm looking for is a good 3175 blue bulb. I dont know if plasma blue would look blue at all. I might take some time this weekend on observing how the lights in my dash go about. I'll be tripping out some nice ol' light trick on my interior, all blue.
I'll post some pics if I get it right.

ps. every solara deserves a classy cosmetic lighting.

Depends on the city you are in, but cops can stop you for any non OEM light colors. They really don't like blue out here in California because CHP uses BLUE on their bikes. I got stopped one time and the Dick of a cop, gave me an extra fix-it ticket for blue side markers on my last Solara, I had clear corners. Just my two Pennies. :D
Yeah, I've owned 2 Solaras so.............................Image
