If i say "I want to sell my car now!", how much you are willing to pay for it?
Not just from curiosity but i am really serisously considering..

Btw it's a 2000 SE V6 with 50,000 miles on it.
Major mods includes:
HID Conversion Kit w/ Hi/Lo
TRD struts
Eibach Springs
TRD(Molly) bodykit
Motegi MR7 18" rim
Brembo stock size drilled rotors
..more minor mods please check my cardomain page..

Is it a good idea to put it on eBay or just asking around for local buyers..?

Thanks a lot..!!

In all honesty its better to piece apart your car instead of selling it with all those mods. Unless you get lucky and find someone who has a use for those mods, you won't get any money for them. I am willing to buy your xenons from you if you gimme the specs

Ya i know.. but uninstalling all of them is surely painful.. especially for those parts that need to be done by a shop..

Wha??? You are not satisfied with the handling when it's pulling 0.89G for lateral acceleration?

new here on solaraguy... you should know it was especially your car that inspired me to do some work on mine (2000 SLE Green).

Had the solara for 3 years. Last year bought a hot BMW Z3 convertible for a fast, fun, head turning car (most stock solaras do not turn heads). Realized what a piece of crap it was compared to the Solara. Sure it handled great and absolutely flew, but had it in the shop more in 9 months than the Solara in 3 years (including oil changes!). Sold it and putting the money back in the Solara. I am not willing to put up with poor quality for an image.

But if you do wanna piece-meal some things off of it.... i'm interested in at least the HID and TRD kit... maybe more...

Opt - Don't judge BMW quality on the Z3. That is without doubt the shoddiest car they've released in my recent memory. You should've gotten the M roadster :)

Right!!
Z3 is the only BMW that i look down on.. and it deserves it too.. i'd only consider it when it comes with ALL James Bond options.. otherwise.. gosh when i think of the look of the car.. :-? it's head turning cuz ppl are thinking "Dang how ugly that car is??? Must see again!" well..personal opinion..
M roadster.. nice but please don't share the body with Z3! i feel sorry for the M engine and emblems..
Think in another way, even a Z3 could handle that well.. WHY CANT a solara??? Guess ppl will say "It's a luxury/sports coupe! With a sportier suspension and streamliner look than camry but still keeps the luxury!" Well while you want to keep both, you actually lose both..

I think i might just keep it.. since the depreciation on solara is frightening and ppl don't really appreciate this car.. :(

Yeah if only I had an extra $20K for the M. It's all good... the z3 made me appreciate my solara. I at least sold the Z3 for a profit. My sister has an 2000 A4 which has been a disappointment as well (and yes an S4 would be nicer but again another $$$ issue). I love the German styling, but it's hard to beat Japanese quality.

as per that i did hve a Vw jetta Vr6. Preety fast car. i loved the styling and how it handled. I also loved the interior, kinda matrix like. The car caught fire when i took it to the carwash one day and that was the end of me experimenting with euros or any other cars out there. My fam./paps intro.ed me to the world of toyotas and i am afraid i will be staying thee for a while. list of cars he had.....
Toyota ae70 wagon /1980
Toyota ae80 /1983
Toyota ae90 wagon /1990
Toyota hiace/4runner in U.s /1992
list is endless...
