Does anyone thing this would cause an issue? I have searched and saw some stuff about people having it throw a checkengine light. I want to remove the whole console in the dash and not use it at all. What do you guys think? The reason is that I am working to put an lcd screen that will cover almost the whole dash.

How are you gonna get a reading for your speedometer, tach, gas, oil temp on a lcd? And all the indicator lights?

Cool. Wasn't sure because I had seen someone say something about the CEL getting triggered when you take it out.

Wow, so you're going to remove the gauge cluster and have a LCD screen in place of it? Damn, I bet that'll look cool. 8)

Cause the computer will detect it being triggered. I can see all the codes live on my servers and in the car.

Laugh, my car has more electronics in it than its worth. People get in and are like what the hell. It's clean though, nothing nasty but I can copy a movie in under 10 minutes while in my car :)
