Hey guys, I got Lexus IS300 factor AMP and was just curios if IS300's AMP is better than my stock Solara AMP... because if its better than my originial AMP, i'm thinking about switching it IS300 factory amp.... btw, anybody know how to change the amp? and where it is located? I tried the search to find it out but no luck... please help..

From my experience with the stock Solara amp, it's even a biatch getting that out, best to go aftermarket for everything. It's easier that way. Stck amps are just a pain to deal with. Just removed mine a few days ago and I'm glad I'm never gonna deal with that again!

i believe the stock JBL system on the SLE's has the amplifier located behind the glovebox, correct me if i'm wrong though..i say go with aftermarket amp and trunk mount it, or under passenger seat like me..

Don't even bother with the lexus amp, just get an aftermarket one. Its not worth the time/effort
