Stereotypes suck... but sometimes they are true!

THe majority of women in my family cannot drive... 2-4 accidents a year? *_*

The only woman that can drive (no tickets/accidents for about 18 years) is my mom and she drives about 300 miles/week (the other females in the family do about 80 miles a week... *_*)
1GR-FE ftw!

heheh..i'm not being serious you guys!! but you get my point!!

The only reason why women het lower premiums is because almost all of their accidents are from them starting and stopping infront of someone causeing them to hit them in the rear. My mom is a pro at this, drive like crap but everyone hits her in the back so it isn't her fault even though I have been in the car with her and KNOW it is her fault. :)

Chix can drive - just not very well. They're at a genetic disadvantage being predisposed to making mistakes and exercising poor judgment behind the wheel.

It's not their fault. They were born that way - try to have a little compassion for those less fortunate than you are!

That's a pretty ignorant statement to make.

lol..well say what you want guys. considering this is (and always has been)a male dominated world, i betcha it was mostly men that formed the whole insurance crap thing...you know what that means...it was probably a guy who figured out that women should pay less than men for insurance. lol

ya know, you're probably right. A cute young girl probably asked real nice and sweet to the agent to give her lower rates. To justify it, he devised the excuse that women were safer drivers. It wouldn't surprise me at all, heck it's not much different than what I'd do :)

parking is the one thing i've always had a problem w/..i don't know what it is..but i hate parking! like if i can, i'd rather turn left into a spot than a right...even then sometime i have to do a "pull in, reverse, and straighten out technique"..i think tho that this has to do w/ the parking lot at work..it's really cramped so the spots are tiny and hard to get in and out of. people are hitting each other all the time...i try to park on the end where i just pull straight in..the car is a lot safer there then in the rows! (and it's an easy spot to get into when you're in a rush!)

that's sort of true to tho about women doing more parking then men. i mean, if i go out then i have to park several times during the day..espcially if i'm going shopping or soemthing...so of course i'd be more likely to hit something over a guy who drove to his friends house and just pulled into a driveway.

am i the only one who has trouble judging the distance they have behind them in the solara?? i always think i'm super close to the car in front of me or behind me and i'll get out and have like 3 feet. yet when i'm parkin up against a garage door i'll think i still have a couple of inches, yet i'll tap the door...that's the one thing that bothers me..front isn't bad, but the back is...like backing into a space..i don't even like to try it.

My friend always complains that I drive through incredibly tight spaces. He shrinks up and screams like a little girl (that's what I tell him at least).

I like driving right into space and I avoid lefts. The opposite of you I guess. I don't know why, I think it's because I learned right turns first when I first learned to drive. I also drive into them very fast, but the parking spaces in Texas are bigger.

i'm usually very daring when it comes to squeezing by left hand side traffic at a red light to take a right on red. stupid people aren't considerate enough to get into the left lane if they're going straight when people can take a turn on the right side on red, or they'll plop themselves in the middle. one of these days i'm gonna misjudge just how must i can push it and i'll either scrape my mirror of hit the curb. :)

i still would luv to drive in another state to see if it's easier than boston driving..i still won't battel "downtown" boston tho...so not pretty.

i feel better to know that i'm not the only one who will circle a pklt if it can just to take a left turn into a spot instead of a right

I didn't say that... I just meant if there was a right space I'd take that over the left side. Even if it's a little further down. But I won't turn down a left parking spot just because it's on my left, unless it's one of those slanted parking lots. I'm not that neurotic :)

I can't parallel worth crap! Course, I don't have to much over here. I've only had to do it a couple of times and one was because I was taking my driver's test. Parallel parking I definitely something I will completely avoid. I can drive into a curbside parking but I won't park between two cars unless there is "adequate" space. In Texas it's nice, we leave each other half a car's length for people get out. I don't think I could do Boston on New York parallel.
