1999 Seat Warmer??

Postby JoeB » Thu Oct 07, 2004 3:44 pm

It wasn't an option in 99. I bought my SLE new in 99 and at the time bought the car as a luxery/sport coupe and I got just about every option that was available for it. They didn't have heated seats or my wife would have insisted on it. She got the heated seats in her 2000 Lexus RX300. Probably the fuse location and plugs were there for future use. -JoeB

I can assure you the 99's did not come with seat warmers. My 99 SLE has every single option available other than the TRD package(working on it myself).

I know convertibles are ineligble for heated seats for some reason.

I don't particularly like heated seats, it makes me feel like i peed myself, but maybe ones that heat the back would be nice.

or maybe i did just pee myself. :fadein:

I vote you peed yourself! j/k You live in a warm climate huh? I'm already freezing my a$$ off here!

Update....I have purchased the heat tape for my seats but I still do not have any potentiometers. Total spent on heat tape: 3.75 x 4ft = $15. Just got to get potentiometers and wire them in. Total estimated for dual heated seats....$25! Who thinks that's a good price? I DO!

I've got all the materials I need for the install, just need time and
a place to do it. I'll post install pics when I get around to doing it.
