is it hard to take out the front emblem for the solara? and the middle chrome strip, what do u do about that?

Mole has the Toyota Emblem Off, and replaced it with a TRD one, it looks cool....

ya but see i want the chrome outlining still to be there, but the middle chrome strip and the emblem need to go..lol ill find a way i guess...

I did my own grill. I left my emblem chrome, but I sprayed all the other chrome to black. I think its the best look for a black Solara, but we each have our own tastes. If you want to take a look at how it looks really quick, I only have a really bad pic from our last meet on my WWW on page 6 (Bottom group, 4th car). You could just tape off the outside, and pull the emblem off. The emblem is a pain to get off. since after two years or so, the grommets holding it in rusts itself, so you can pry it off, but the only way to get it back on would be to use some kind of glue and stick the whole front emblem on.

are you talking about the whole entire middle bar needs to go? or just the chrome only??

if you wanted the whole bar gone, Fenix did exactly what youre looking for....

if youre just wanting to get rid of the chrome and the emblem, but leaving the bar, then just remove the emblem as suggested from the previous posts... then just sand down the chrome really really lightly then paint it black... flat black is suggested though
