omg!! i'm soooooooo pissed! i went to the movies today and came out and someone had hit my passenger side front!! the same spot i had the accident last time!! ggrrrrr..it's too dark to see how much paint damage there is, but the headlight is scuffed and the corner lense is smashed...what's up w/ all these accidents!

how does this work w/ insurance?? can i put it in as a hit and run? will that raise my insurance and will i have to pay the deductible?

I think you can claim it on insurance, at least with mine you can. But they MIGHT raise rates. Also, if you have the deductible, it might be better if you didn't claim and just pay for the damages.

Unfortunately, that's how insurance companies are. Pay the deductable...and your rates will go up by a little.

damn..i have like a $500 deductible..no way there's that much damage.

looks like i'm just gonna have to suck it up and pay for it :(

i have to take a look at it in the light tomorrow...i think if i just change the corner lense, it will be ok, but i still have to live w/ the paint damage, unless i bring it to a shop.

arghhhhhh, that really really sucks. You know in these situations the consumption of lots of mixed drinks helps dramatically :drinking:

This stuff usually doesn't happen if you park WAY OUT THERE. Slobs that bang doors or back into you don't want to walk very far..In fact I think there's some sort of connection between how close you park to the entrance doors and how likely you are to get dinged....

thanks guys! i wish it was just a little scatch..lol..this one goes from the bottom bumper to the side panel and then the corner is broken...luckily tho the extra casing inside that houses the turn signal didn't break..so it's not a repair that i have to make right away.

although, keeping things in perspective, it's a lot better than the last accident..and it's definitely nothing compared to getting rear ended! (right sLoSoLaRa2k2?? i still can't believe how many accidents there are!)
