engin light on?

Ok this is the second time in a little over a month this has poped up. i rented a comp. to figure out what was rong and the code red: EVAP emission control system malfunctiuon P0440. Does any one know what is causing this to keep coming up? i can clear so it cant be anything serious can it?

i had the same right after i replaced my charcoal canister. It was a loose vaccume line on the canister.

emssion control stuffs doesnt create serious problem, you can still drive it

For one, if it's EGR then it might increase gas consumption, so that the mileage will suffer.
