Camry clutch same as Solara clutch?

Camry clutch same as Solara clutch?

Postby 1jzgte » Thu Oct 21, 2004 7:35 pm

I'm about to buy a daikin clutch kit from coximport.com and Solaras aren't listed under the application. I'm positive that 5sfe Camrys and Solaras share the same engine/tranny. So I don't see why I cant use a Camry clutch kit #16067 on my car. What do you guys think? It should fit in my car shouldn't it?

I ordered a Fidanza lightened flywheel for a Solara, but took the tranny out of a 02 camry... the tranny is the same from Camry to Solara.. just make sure they have the same engine size.. ie. 1mzfe

i doubt that the i-4 and V6 components are interchangeable, but there is a slight chance toyota uses univversal parts for some of their engines
