2001 solara v4, headlights (low beam) does not work

I don't drive often but just a few days ago I found the low beams seemed to stop working. Even if i manually switch on the low beam, they just don't turn on anymore. I pushed the lever forward and both high beam bulbs work just fine, but if I let it go the lever, low beam would not work. Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this problem?

your light bulb low beam fliament is burn out, just replace it. and your car is I4 not V6 (I stand for inline 4)

also check your fuses
