Good afternoon members. I am throwing a GB on the Brembo Drilled/Slotted rotors for the '99 - '03 vehicles. Just some information:

+ Rotors will fit in the FRONT for the '99 - '03 V4 & V6

If we can get 15 people interested, Brembo will personally cover the shipping & handling charges.

*PRICES DON'T INCLUDE S/H*

Front: $220
Rear: $200

If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at rush@rpmrevolution.com

Krawzy, you were going to find prices on the drilled/slotted prices from one of your sources. What pricing did you receive & did you make sure your source was an authorized Brembo retailer?

Well, I just had a conversation with him. He won't provide the name of the retailer where he supposedly gets them at a lower cost. Just gave me a set of numbers out of the thin air.

I called Brembo to verify his pricing, and they laughed in my face saying that there is no way anybody sells them at the price that he provided to me.

Edit:
I just spoke to my sales rep from Brembo North America. When asking them about the prices this what they had to say: Many retailers like me will buy the blank discs from Brembo go to a different wheel shop and try to drill the holes into the plates, since these drillings are not properly done, this is what will usually cause the warping into the rotors.

When Brembo takes the blank plates, they x-ray the plates to make sure there is no defects on the plate. Drill the holes into the plates on one side flip it over and drill holes on the opposing side. However, no 2 rotors are identical, just like finger prints.

From here Brembo will take the discs and balance them at high speeds to prevent any vibrations occuring when the rotor is placed onto the vehicle.

So, Brembo NA believes that where KA is getting his rotors from probably do what I initially stated. Buy 100-200 pieces of the blank discs and drill the rotors incorrectly rupturing the "veins" in the rotors causing them to warp or crack easily.

TOTALLY seperate issue here, but there are MANY more V4's than street bikes dude, most heavy work machinery have V4 engines, insane torque numbers, but no go. My step dad has 2 catepiller movers that both have V4's.
