Has anyone bought new strut mounts?

Has anyone bought new strut mounts?

Postby pythonjosh » Sat Nov 20, 2004 3:51 pm

I just bought a set from Schmuck's and it came with a dust boot attached. But the originals that I am replacing, the boot is not attached so the spring is secured to the strut mount. With this new one, since the dust boot is attached, I don't see the spring being securely held with the strut mount. I was thinking about 'customizing' the dust boot to make the strut mount secure the spring. What do you guys think?
