DRL Problems - Help!

Hey guys.. I'm having real trouble with the DRL function of the car. Even though I have disconnected the switch in the top right under the hood, the lights wont stop coming on. They come and go as please. I have HID installed and fear it will go bad if this continues.

The lights come on whenever they want and go whenever they want. Please help as I dont want to lose my HID's. Any help would be appreciated.

Milt got it right. If the HID Balast is not fully insulated from the metal(body), the DRLS will work

interesting.

so the screw to anchor the ballast in my case was the ground, which made them stay on.

all i did was disconnected it, put tape around where the connecters were (electrical tape) then i put it back "lightly' just so it looked like one piece, then i taped the whole thing together...so...yea =) :D

I think you need to unplug the nighttime sensor on your dash all the way to the right. That little black dome. Pop it up with a flat head screwdriver and unplug it.
