EyeLid for Headlight Pics....Good Or Gay?

Like I see how allot of people wanted EyeLids on their car so I got bored and custom made mine....Does it look good or bad? I think it looks kinda tight durning the day but at night its crappy in ways. And yes I tried to make it look good. Geometry skills haha.

Thanks. Going to try doing the corner lights tommorow too..Yeah it would look so cool with a black car or at least with a carbon fiber hood and custom projector headlights like some of the solara fans in the other forum. Its a head turner so far awhile ago at the car meet. Looks mean in person not in pictures.

Yea you DEFINITELY need to add the "eyelids" to the corners so that it extends across the whole headlight assembly . . . I think then it'll look sweeeeeeeeeeet. Lemme know how this turns out boi. Shoootz

I dont know. Mine stays on and I even had a hard time taking them off when I screwed up. Its the same paper off ebay and I got mine from friends. Im going to started the corners eyelid when my clear corner comes in and then Im going to bust out custom ground splitter lips. Yes I know how to lay fiberglass with carbon fiber. Its going to make the car look mean.

I think it looks pretty good, granted it probably would look better if it was the color of the car, or even better maybe it it was a translucent color or black. (though legal issues may apply with certain tints)

On another note though, I think it's a little offensive to say whether the car looks 'good' or 'gay'.
Last time I checked, Gay wasn't or shouldn't be synonymous with bad... nor does putting eyelids on your car make it look more like your car is attracted to members of the same sex.

Agreed. Good start / idea, but not a perfect finish. If they were longer (going over signals) w/ a lower inside they would be really, really nifty IMHO. What are you using material wise??
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

I definately like the look. I never stopped to realize that carbon fiber may not be such a good combo with the lunar mist. Post another pic when you get the rest w/the lids. It may not really "match," but it "goes." :fadein:

I kinda like that agressive look. It would look better if you carried it across the clear corners too.
