Struts and spring wheels installation problem

Struts and spring wheels installation problem

Postby envycycles » Sun Nov 28, 2004 6:56 pm

I installed the tokikos and the eibach springs yesterday...
but I have noticed something.
1. The rear is lower then the front
2. Everytime I am riding on the freeway and go over bumps the rear tire hits the fender. But feels like the left more than the right.
3. The ABS light came on when I turned on the car. ( I disconnected the sensors to make sure that the sensors did not get damaged. And I also disconnected the battery for a while and the light went out then it came back on.
4. After I installed my 19s the steering wheel kinda shakes... I borught the car to get balanced and to get aligned right after all the installation... Problem still there.

1.?
2.?
3.?
4.?

Any help is appreciated

1. People with eibach springs usually have that problem...maybe u should look into the tein springs.
2. That's a problem from 19s and lowered...roll the fenders
3. Dunno about this...get someone to scan the error code.
4. Anything over 17s usually shakes no matter how much u balance and align.

Well I got 3 out of the 4 problems solved...
I bought some spring locks and installed them on the rear springs, it raised them about 1/2" to 3/4"... no the front and the rear looks the same.
Then I bought hub rings and fixed the problem with the shaking...

The only thing left is the ABS light... I can't figure it out
