PythonJosh, that's a good idea for the rear blinder. Might put that in consideration, let us know how it turns out.

I will be driling some holes for switches this week in my shifter section as well. I originally planned for 4. The one closest to me will be a momentary switch that will blow a loud a$$ air horn. The second one will be the interior lights (tubes on the floor, air vents, other LED's) Third will be the exterior (underbody neons, exterior mirros (thanks Josh), center emblem, and washer lights) The fourth will be for strobes in the front (not flashy police strobes but nice blinking ya know). What are your thoughts?

Anthony, will these switches be under the ash tray? That's a good place for switches. I've got 3 switches in there and someone else here has 5. What kind of switches are you using? And what kind of air horn? I've always wanted to get one of those loud train like pressurized horns from JCWhitney. Just gotta get a good air compressor and a horn. Does anybody know where to get police like strobes? I really like the high light ouput and speed and pattern if the flashes.

You can get official strobes from http://www.galls.com that's about the only site I know of without searching. Try Froogle.

I'm not sure about what switches I will have, I know they will be rocker though. I went to Pep Boys about 4 days ago and they didn't have crap, if you look on my site you can see the regular toggle switch I have in the coin tray but that will be replaced with a new tray since I will move all my switches between the ash tray and shifter.

One question I have for you guys who did that is: what did you use to put around it? Is it a piece of suede or cloth or something? Since I have painted it, it has tons of scratches from when I throw my digital cam and keys and stuff there.

Actually I may wait until I find out how that "bastard blinder" works for you and put the switch for that where my coin tray one is. Hopefully I will rarely use it.

Good links there Anthony. Didn't know I could buy those strobe lights like the pigs have. I like the 10 pattern power supplies too. As low as $99! I wanna get the 150dB Train horn too! Air compressors are bank tho. I like the switch in the change tray idea. I'm gonna put a switch in there for all the rear lights (in case I need to get away ) All the ground wires for the rear lights go to the same place. So I'm gonna put a switch on it! Brake lights, running lights, reverse lights, turn signals will NOT be functional in the rear with the switch disabled. Muahahahaa!
The cloth I have around mine kinda came with and is glued to it. Don't know how you don't have it. Looks like the carpet on subwoofer boxes.

I'll always give a warning flash to show them what they are dealing with. Once they know, they should back off, or do something else like pass me. It wouldn't be right to give someone a straight on direct beam. I have to 'fire a warning shot'. I am not a person to be f'ed with on the road.

I'm with you all the way Josh. About 99% of the time nobody passes me when I drive "I FEEL THE NEED FOR SPEED." Anyways when situations do occur it is nice to have that warning for them, or in other cases when you get in front of someone and they flash their lights thinking your brights are on or something, you can flash 'em back.

Thats the dimmer switch for my pedals. The only reason its there is because with the pedals on at full brightness them buzz too much. Infact its kinda useless because I don't use the pedals unless I'm driving

From left to right --> 1. Underbody neons,2. pedals and other small neons 3. front neons 4. rear neons 5. Kill switch for sub(remote turn on Wire)
In the back the CF switchs I have shut off for power to my boost gauge so if i ever got pulled over, it wouldn't be glaring in the officers eyes "Boost" and then shut off for a LED scanner i have thats hooked up to my alarm system. It drains my battery when I'm not driving it because I don't take it to school

neons are connected in parallel, and always connected to power - to use them, you need to ground them....
-power is wired unswitched to the neon positive hub
-neon negative hub is wired to the center position on the switch
-one position on the switch is the door sensor wire
-other switch position is the constant ground

"off" is leaving the switch in the middle
"on" is putting the switch to constart ground
"door" is connecting the switch to the door sensor

leaving the switch set to "on" will kill your battery, but off and door will not. this is becasue no electricity is used, since there is no ground, and the electrons have nowhere to flow.

This is how I have them set up, except I use 2 switches. But if you want only one switch, you'll need a 2 channel switch which will have 6 prongs on the bottom. Most switches only have 2 postions, no middle position. I'm not saying they don't exist, just they're not common. Could be hard to find. So with a typical 2 position switch, you can have the neons either always on (constant ground), or the door sensor. And if you worry about draining your battery, you should get an Optima Yellow top Gel Battery.

i wanted to put my switches in front of the shifter, but i couldnt get that panel up easily and i didnt want to break something. I ended up mounting mine to the left of the steering wheel just above that little drawer thing.
