This is my first car in almost 15 years. I had an 88 Camry LE w/142K. The 17yo girl up the street hit it in front of my house :cry:

. Prior to that I had an 86 Corolla GTS, 85 Corolla SR5 and before that an 82 Corolla SR5.

I just love this Solara. When I drove around in the 88 Camry I'd see a Solara and say oooo Solara oooo.

Its my new baby! I bought a Sony CDX CA850 CD player for it, Mila Miglia Spider alloy wheels and it came with a "LoJack" alarm.

I missed owning a new car.

The Solara is a 99 "slightly used" 10,750 miles and I've had it 3 weeks now. March 6, 2002

Because it is beautiful, comfortable, sexy, trouble-free, zero defect in its 6-month almost 10,000 mile life span, dependable, sharp looking, nice riding, hmmm ... did I miss anything? :-?

I love my Solara because they dont make the Supra anymore, so I got the next best thing (MR-Spyder and GTS Celica is to small for my 6'2" frame). My first choice in cars would be a 97/98 Supra, but my Solara keeps me satisfied. Toyota is starting to take over the import scene, watch out Honda!
