Is it me or do alot of old people drive our cars?

Solara is a nice car! What difference does it make what age we drive it? Will people leave this alone?

Even if it's an old lady car what do I care? I'm an individual able to make my own choice for what I like. I like this car, I buy this car, I drive this car. No one else has to deal with it but ME.

Uh, RedSolara, if you think you're buying your last car at age 35 or 45 you need a reality check. Thanks for the insight...I thought I bought this car because I really liked it, now I know it was because I'm ready to die. Get real.

there is something about a solera that gets us irritated when peopletalk about our cars.

you know it's a proven fact that people w/ low self esteem tend to lash out at other people b/c it makes them feel better about themselves. and who is us?? do you have multiple personalities or is there someone else there helping you think b/c you can't think on your own?

yea guys..isn't there something about solara owners who can't spell solara and that think they are superior to you b/c the have a newer solara that gets us irritated?? heheh (little materialistic and egotistical?? i'm sooo jealous that you have a car that's newer than mine!! omg! you got me! i'll admit it, you are so much better than me!! i really like the 99 model the best, but those damn numbers...i need to get a 03 that i don't like as much b/c it's more impressive to say that i have a 03 car instead of an old, crappy 99 ...heheh)

epecially when your reminded that cars built before may 2001
have slush or deposit build up.....so do not change the oil every 7000 miles like the book says,you shold do it every 3000 miles -----go ahead flipside909 explain the above.

ok...get yur info straight, flip is probably laughing at you right now...we know we have to change our oil every 3k, not 7k...i guess you're telling us that you change yours every 7k...who wants to shake their head for me?
oh, and about the toyota problem...every machine has problems, nothing is perfect. it can't be that serious of a problem..i don't see any 99 and 00 owners having any problems b/c of the defect. the 01,02, and 03 models break down just as frequently as the 99 and 00.

ahhhh..i think i figured it out..you're that guy who got pissed off cause a lot of us agreed that the new tail lights were ugly and we hurt your feelings cause you think that having the new taillights should make you feel special and make the rest of us "low and poor" people feel jealous??

like i said w/ the lights..i'll admit that they're starting to grow on me. i don't mind saying their ugly just cause i think mine are ugly too! so i guess that gives me the right to do it, lol. the thing that i luv about the 99 and the 03 lights tho is that they are so unique, i mean especially the new ones...how many cars do u see w/ something like it? u know, if you actually take the time to look at a lot of taillights, most of them are ugly on almost every car. i'm serious..next time you're at a red light pay attention to other cars, very few have eye pleasing taillights. (but don't rear end anyone!!)

Now that this thread has evolved to taillights....the new Camry, now those are nasty taillights! What were they thinking?? The front is nice but the back sucks. The new Accord is the opposite..the front is weird droopy looking but the back is ok..kinda like the older Camry.

The design of the headlights and taillights was something we really liked about the 02 Solaras...
