99 Side View Mirrors

99 Side View Mirrors

Postby xsolara33x » Fri Dec 10, 2004 9:58 am

Hey guys,
didn't know if I should have posted this up here, I wasn't sure so sorry if it's in the wrong section. I was just wondering will these side view mirrors work for our cars??? They look the same and they are for 99- 02 camry. My passenger side view mirror housing is broken so I need to get that replaced. Only problem is if I get this I need to get it painted, sheesshh... Oh yeah, does it matter if its a japan made car or a united stated made car? cuz my car was originally made in Canada. One more thing, are our mirrors heated?
Thanks,
Raphael

Here are the links for the side view mirrors that I'm looking at.

if it was made in japan ok, but if it was made in japan for jdm cars, then no good. the mirror for driver's side has no convex shape.

(unless they stopped doing that...) if you dont get it, what i was trying to say is that mirrors on the passenger's side has that "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" meaning its convex to cover more area.

if you put that type mirror on your car, then you wont get the correct reflection.

again this is if they made that mirror to be used in japan.

If not then,
the mirror shell looks similiar, but i am not 100% certain it matches the solaras.
