Hey guys whats up, I been in tha forum since I got my car in 2001 I have gotten alot of Ideas from here but I have been looking to see if anyone has tried a Projector project for a Solara, most pics I have only been able to get Camry pics, I have been doing alot of research in the (hidplanet.com) site but still want some more help before I start cutting the Headlight housing. I did mine. The project took an entire weekend to get it done. Worth it though, as IMHO they look wicked cool :). I used a saw-zaw and a die grinder for 90% of the work. I baked them for 10-15 minutes at 200 degrees to get them apart.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

also, most of the posts say with the Solara retro fit you can only have "low beams" and no high beams. Is this correct. Tads do you have dual beams?

Pictures are in the picture thread, or on Cardomain. It didn't cost me anything, as the parts were a birthday present from my parents and fiancée. Mine are low-beam only, but Hella makes a dual-beam projector also (available here http://www.rallylights.com/ ). It's a 90mm projector, and it just barely fits.

I try to get those for you. I don't have any close-ups or anything at night right now.

No, I don't want (more like I can't) to make them for anyone. Sorry guys, too much stuff going on right now in my life. This should link to an imagestation album with some closer daytime pictures of the headlamps. Night time ones are being a problem for my very obsolete camera. I am going to see if I can borrow a friend's 5.1 mega-pixel this weekend.
