How much of a difference is there between the Gen1 Black and Gen1.5 black?

'99-'01 has Black Sand Pearl.

Really? I coulda sworn the Gen 1.5 Black was a deeper black. Maybe the ones I saw just didnt have as much paintfade as mine.

gen1 had two blacks
Black Metallic code: 204
Black Pearl code: 209

and gen1.5 is only
Black Pearl code: 209

look on your door panel, there should be a color code around the vin area.

I looked for like 20min last night... LOL

was kinda dark though... maybe i'll look tomorrow afternoon...

^^ if memory serves me right, it should start like this CTR &*&*
and that &*&* will be your color code, if you have two lines (then your two tone..but thats lexus.....i'm guessign solara's its just CRT blah blah blah)
