ok guys i took my car in for emissions today and i failed....

i passed the Evapoative test, but failed the OBD test....

Codes:
P0135 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0441 EVAP Control System Incorrect Purge Flow
P0446 EVAP Control System Vent Control Circuit


so my question is, would it be cheaper to get it fixed at the dealership or do it myself. if do it myself what should i do? Or should i just clear it right before i go again?

I would try clearing it. The O2 sensor is an easy DIY. Are you getting a CEL with those codes?
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

have you got any network of friends with contacts at any 'friendly' emmission stations...if you catch my drift. What do you think those of us who install jdm engines do.... :drinking: (aaah, i love my st185 celica buddies...)

good thing is i didnt have to pay a dime =]

the codes have been cleared and it came back after awhile.. well i guess ill clear it and drive it around and see how long ill take for it to come back.

The O2 sensor you should change yourself, it's easy. As for the P0441 and P0446, send me your email address and I'll send you the troubleshooting procedures. Mostly your are looking for vacuum leaks, probably around the charcoal canister.
