I just got this 7.2" screen and it says for power id need
12v +\- 10%

<7.2W

my question is, can i tap right into the cig lighter for the power? or would that power from the cig lighter be too much for the screen?

Well, I know the whole car is 12v. But I dunno about the +/- 10%.
Don't know about wattage either. I say hook it up, it made for automobile
applications.

Yeah, you should be safe? What's the rating on the fuse?
