Unlock center hub from TRD rim when it gets too tight

Postby Benji668 » Tue Dec 21, 2004 7:44 pm

Hi everyone, I have a question. What happens if the center hub gets too tight to take it out from the TRD rim. Caused that's what happen to me rightnow on one of my rim. Even though I use the TSW key which came with the TRD rims. I'm still having tough time to get it out. Anybody have any solutions to it? Thanks.

^ yeah. perhaps force from behind will knock it out.

use a piece of wood so it won't damage the cap.

usually whenu go to put it on the balance machine shaft that alone will knock it out.. but u might wantto take better care ofurs since u have the TRD centrer section versus my factory center cap

It will not work to knock it out from behind. It needs to un-screw clockwise to get it out from back side. & plus, don't want to damage the threads.
