does anybody know of a five speed automatic transmission that could pretty much bolt up or atleast be the easiest to mount to the 99 solara engine? im not sure if maybe lexus has a car that has the engine with a five speed or what not, if anybody knows it would be appreciated , thanks

not that i know of.

perhaps just go 5 sp manual.

either way it wont be plug and play. you will have to change parts, 1 for sure is the ECU.

the new Solara 5spd auto is worth tryin to match up.. and i'm sure its the asme as the lexus ES330 5 spd auto and camry 5spd auto.. (new ones)

yea u could.. i was gonna say the manual would be cheaper..but then think bout fabricating the 3rd pedal and what not.. and adding shift linkages

It's not like a 5spd auto will exactly bolt up either.
