yeah, i know these are available, but i not sure if thats the route i want to take.....hence mesa asking here...
(keeping in mind)
My 97 XLE camry came with 15 rims, which i then changed to 16's off gen1 solara, which i then changed to 17 konig rush (then sold to member here), which then changed to 15s from solara which then changed to 16's from gen5 xle rims. So what i'm trying to say is that i'm picky! I'm happy with my wheels on my camry!
now i am shopping for solara. I don't want to go aftermarket, wanted to keep it 'sleeper looking'....thereby my question, do you dig what i contemplate doing (or u think this is ricer looking, then say so)..or would you sport 16's that came with the car? (cus' i still got those too).
Currently on gen1 15's alloys, cus' i still had rubber on those.

polished lip does not equal sleeper at all. Polished lips = Jay Dee Em.

Rims wont change the sleeper look of your ar as long as you stick with stock looking 5 or 6 spoke rims. Not many people know what solara rims look like, we drive quite forgettable cars, because there's so many of them.

That car just has a rim ring on. They pop on and off of base hubcap style wheels. When I was into Crown vics and the police package cars, I was thinking of getting a white one with hubcap wheels and those rim rings, which look like a lip.

Its one of the cheapest things you can do for hubcap style wheels, and it does look good on that integra as it does on some other cars.

After googling and using cardomain, I found one with them on. Compare the pics, big diff with and without I think. Theyre also called wheel/ring trims.

Yes sir, that is correct, that car has rim rings. But the other way to go about this is to wet sand the wheel completely...and then paint from there (masking it accordingly). But then again, that a lot of work..I've got sweet deals on aftermarket..i was just thinking aloud..Yeah, they do look SWEET on teggies...i guess i'll pass based on what you all said...I guess...back into wondering what wheels to get...
