For some reason I think I may have a loose wire or wired something wrong because now when I turn off the car it feels like it goes dead. The doors won't automatically unlock and the windows won't give me the 30 seconds or so to play with them. What's the deal? My lights stay on though (until I open my door) I have the slightest.

What do you mean when you said it goes dead? You might have a short circut in the wire somewhere and do you have an alarm wiht your car?

Yes I have an alarm. I'm not sure what it could be. Too many electronics running maybe? It happened once before but that was only for a few days then after I put some more neons in my car it just got worse.

But it was okay for a day or two after that. I have the slightest. Even when I don't even use them or any electronics it still feels like it completely shuts down. As if I pulled the battery terminals off.

Normally there would be a strong shut off feel and I could use my windows for a little. A friend of mine is an electrician and he is going to take a look at it but hopefully he can figure it out. I'll let you know of any findings.

If all else fails I will just wait untill I get my Optima in the next few weeks and pray it works then. I will also be changing my crappy Rattler alarm for a Viper 2-way. That won't be until I put my new subs in though.

I just put a new stereo in my car and now when I turn the car off and open the door, the lights aren't going out.

but I think mine might have something do with something I might have done somehow by turning on/off my alarm.

I have no idea how that thing works.

Alarms are strange, I haven't had a chance to take a look at it yet but tonight I will see what I can come up with. According to UPS tracking my body kit should be here when I get home so I'll be doing some work on the car. I'll let you know. Where is your valet switch? Did you touch it at all when you were doing your installs?

i think it may be your alarm. the windows i can understand if you have a function on the alarm to roll up/down, but the door locks i dont.

perhaps you or the person installing the alarm missed a step.
