wassup all! i have just put a short ram intake on my solara, and i know it sounds a LOT better, almost like a turbo spoolin off after i let off the gas, but how much power do you guys think im getting? Also if anyone could tell me where the I-4 makes its peak power, im guessing around 5500rpms? thanks

Peak power @ 5000k

Dude serously it don't give much power unless you do a cold air extension.

It can be done for your car. Search for it.

there is peak performance for each gear some where at some thread, i think 5600 was a good ballpark figure....

However, what are you trying to do, sound better or perform better!

I thought peak was 5400. I know the auto shifts around 5900 if you give it full throttle.

Even though it sounds like it has alot more grunt, I dont think the short ram really helped all that much in actual power. It wasnt til I got the CAI that i started feeling some extra kick.

cold air extension

should i attempt to make a cold air extention for my car, is it really worth the difference in power? i did it on my 97 accord ex a while back (went from short to cold air) and i didnt notice much. also does the computer reset itself or do i have to do it and how do you add those avatars???
