I bothered a tech at one dealership enough [boy was it a problematic procedure!] to get me all part number for the solara lip kit

He ran all parts as if i had a SE sport and needed entire ground effects kit replaced. For those who are interested - the items are NOT in the toyota DVD [read: computer] they are in 04 accessories book, under "ground effects"

I have the full list of parts [part numbers included] which are a part of official toyota body kit - the retail price [atleast from prestige toyota, north NJ] is horrible - its almost $3000 dollars!!!!

Anyway, im definately looking for toyota-like front and rear skirt for my SE. Sides would be cool but not as important.

If price is right, im all for it! If anyone in northern NJ/NYC area wants to get together and design something, i would be willing to help [I've done 3D design/CAD professionally].

I am kinda curious as well. I finally got my car back from the body shop, after 4 times of sending it back for "re-dos" and got my mud guards on, I think the front lip kit would look good on there.

Also, will these be painted or primered or what?

Junest, Jewls and others who are waiting,

im sorry to tell you guys that i have not yet received any sorts of reply yet from CF1. I have written two emails since i posted this topic and i have got not one saying NO. :evil:

So now i am gonna take matters into my own hands and head on down to their shop sometime this week and talk to the guy. My kit is scratched up in the front so i am lookin for a new kit. Sorry for the wait guys. i am as well anticipating an answer from them!

Does anybody have pictures of the lip kit off the car? like seperately removed. Any kind of pictures would help. And also anybody have pictures of their cars thats uploaded already (SE Sport), from all angles, front and back. Im too lazy to take pics of my own car

Calling Jai... you have those Gen2 kits still sitting around? We need your help with posting pics of the kit. You're the only one I could think of who has a set off the car. Thanks in advance.

As For the news, yes i did get a reply back from CF1. They had told me that i need atleast 10 people interestred and willing to buy the kits in order for the kits to be made. 50% of the cost will need to be deposited before and the other 50% when the kit is done. The price of the kit will be determined when i send in the pictures and when i take my car down to the shop. When Jai gets the pictures up, we can await an answer from CF1 for the price. So sit tight! This is a work in progress! and i will keep you guys and ladies posted

Will it be made of carbon fiber, fiberglass, or abs? You never clarified exactly what it will be made of. I don't know what the SE Sport pieces are made of (can someone owning one tell us?) but if these front pieces are made of fiberglass, you can count me out since that material cracks way too easily.

I believe stock lip kits are urethane. I would prefer carbon fiber.

^^ she's correct
Sports lips are made from polyeruthane! they will flex and bend, but will not crack, well if you want them to..they will.
