Hello newcomers, please disregard any mean or hurtful messages to you, they are a part of the hazing ritual here at solaraguy.com :) If you have any problems post them on this that topic.

Hey Blaze,

I'm the bonehead that started that whole mess with the discusting screen bumps thread. Yep, I'm not a member yet, and I do wish that particular thread could be deleted from the column.

I'm not a big fan of deleting threads, although I wouldn't mind it being locked. By deleting it, you destroy a part of our history. Sorry, if I'm being ot sentimental, but this is coming from a guy who keeps EVERY email. I used to keep all the spam email too but ran out of HD space.

What's the subject of the thread? I'll lock it.

This is from the other post. I wanted to emphasize the information.

--

OK everyone. I guess I missed the chance to stop this one while it was young :D Anyhoo, I'm guessing that the matter is settled, so I'm going to lock the discussion from further replies.

I just want to let everyone know that if there is a problem on the forums, don't hesitate to contact a moderator about it. We -- ultramookie, blaze, flipside909, solara1 and kenn157 -- are here to take care of these things for you. The best way to do this is to private message one of us about it so that it can be sorted out privately first. If you are a guest, then private messaging is a bit more difficult, so feel free to send me an email at: solaraguy at ultramookie dot com.

I absolutely hate seeing this kind of thing break out in public like this and would like to take care of these matters privately next time -- especially since this was in essense a matter between Yohon and Blaze, who is one of the moderators here.

I also want to encourage Yohon to go ahead and sign up for an account here on SolaraGuy if you visit a lot. Even if you don't post there are benefits to signing up -- the biggest being new posts tracking. We don't use your email to send you Spam because, well, we don't send any emails to people (unless you request that "Notify me when a reply is posted" option). And if you do sign up for an account, I want to encourage you to join our family here and participate in the discussions.

I hope everything is OK with everyone. If not, feel free to contact me privately and I'll help get things settled.
