I have driven a car with flt a2s and believe me this moffo was stiff. How stiff ? Lets say when my 220 pound skinny behind sat on the fender, by the tire, the car did not flinch. 4 that, now i will get myself a se of those. Costs an arm and a leg, but well worth the money..over now to you mole

thanks for the responses, im really looking for a basic coilover set(not groundcontrols). getting the jic system i dont think ill ever find a setting to stick with. even the new tein superstreet coilover(dont know its available yet) seems like a lot of work.

Yea the "tuning" aspect may be a crap load of work . . . but isn't that why you mod cars? I love tuning cars and reaping the benefits from a well-tuned vehicle . . . wrenchin is all apart of the game.
Besides, if you want variability in your suspension . . . then get the JIC coilovers . . . if you just want to be dropped and done with it: get springs and new struts.

in that case, i recommend the SF-1 by JIC. they are a non-adjustable coilover system. i know of 1 person who rides on them and he is more than content with them.

the next step up is the FLT-A1 US.

I have the TEIN SS. Rides softer than the JIC but the JIC handles better (duh, it's stiffer)

For daily driving, I'd definately recommend the Tein over the JIC. If you go autocrossing and really want your game there, then I'd go with the JIC. It depends on how hardcore you want your handling.

I was just messing with the dampening level of my SS... 2 clicks from my original setting (16 clicks total) can destroy the handling to work than stock... I just figured that out when a 4runner took me at a canyon... lol... I forgot I adjusted it from my original setting...

---

I only said the JIC is hard to tune because you'd have to put it on a lift and, in mike's case, take it off the car to adjust... then to see the results, you'd have to obviously install it, test it, retune, etc... The tein is a simple turn of the knob (easily done by hand)
1GR-FE ftw!

Before you buy contact me. I get JIC and Tein and I just got a memo that the Super Streets w/Pillow Ball Mnts are due in next month. These are compatiable with the EDFC unit too. Tein is also making the Flex Sereis for the first and second gen Solars. Prob due in by Summer.
