I just got my Nitrous Express Kit! Now the RedKnight will be supercharged at 13psi AND an estimated 100 shot of nitrous! I delivered the kit to Arrieta Motorsports today for installation. I say estimated because the plan is to push the nitrous to reach the 350-400hp to the wheel mark! Check out my CarDomain page! Page 3 has the latest details. -JoeB

put it htis way bottle full of nitrious, broken thermostat, lots of heat throw in some fuel and you will have a hole in your garage quicker than you can think :drinking:

I've never had a knock sensor issue. When my sc was first installed at the dealer, the knock sensor blew at 4psi. They replaced the knock sensor and through all of my mods, I've never had another problem with them. Although on that subject, I'm pretty sure I won't have knock sensor problems in the future either. Carlos Jr from Arrieta Motorsports has modified my engine to take new knock sesnors from another application. These are VERY durable.

The head gasket is another special from Arrieta Motorsports. Those guys are really taking care of me. They are taking generations of knowledge and experience and putting it into my engine to make it better than I could ever have imagined. They think of things and know things I never would have considered. The head gasket is very strong and high tech.

This may sound strange but I'm not at all worried about the engine blowing. The engine should be able to take around 800hp. Not that I plan to ever go there but the components can take it. The weak point will be the automatic transmission. I've had work done to the transmission and Level-10 says it's good for 400fwhp, no guarantees. Well, we're going to find out 8) .

The thing is, when you venture off on this journey, you have to know and expect that along the way you WILL brake things. It's part of the game. If the transmission brakes, we'll build it better and stronger. For those of you that are worried about me braking stuff, have you read what's being done to my engine? If not see my CarDomain page, it's similar to what was done to Brad Bedell's engine that was pushing 500+whp in the 1MZFE in the MR2. Trust me, I'm doing it right (LOTS of money!).

For all the concerns about using nitrous and safety, trust me, I thought long and hard about that too. I talked to many professionals including drivers, mechanics and vendors. I think I picked the best application and included all of the latest in safety. Put it this way, I wasn't shopping for price when I picked it out. I think I'm ready for a SQUEEZE! :drinking: -JoeB

Joe,

If you ever run that thing, drop me a PM and I'll drive out anywhere anytime to see it in action.

The three Solaras the Arrietas are working on are making me glad I'm on the east coast.
