when the likewise happened to me, i assumed it was the battery, then the alternator, in the end, it was the endlinks that connect to the battery - they were just worn out. I replaced them at autozone for 6 bucks. they weren't exactly OEM (didn't look facfory too), but what they had worked fine and the positive cover side still fitted (not flush) like before but still fitted! again, maybe something is draining your battery or your leaving your lights on???

Rather than buying a new battery, and/or end cables, did you make a stop at autozone, they check battery alternator and let you know what is wrong for free...you could have used the batter+new terminals for alternator (if that was the source of your problems).

Just get a voltmeter. Start the car, and measure the voltage on the battery, if it's below 13, your alternator is the problem. When you turn off the car, measure the voltage across the terminals again, if it drops below 13V immediately, your battery isn't charging.
