I have 250K on my camry i-4 5s-fe. On the orignal Engine and Tranny. its a 5spd. I bought this car from a friend which was the orginal owner at 210 k miles and i have all his maintinance records and he does everything that should have been done on time.

i do regular maintinance on the car every 2500 miles. i always check all my fuilds. Only thing that has gone bad is one fo my engine mounts which i will be replacing this weekend.

other then that the car still runs strong. Still sounds like new. Alot of my friends are surprised how quiet my engine runs with this many miles on it..

Thats a toyota for you. I will probably hit 300K by mid 06. I drive about 30 to 35k a yr..

well i have 105k on my 1mzfe with a supercharger..it runs really well still, i think 200, 300 should be no problem with the right maintenance.

....odometer only reads 70,000.........

Postby ezshift5 » Tue Jan 25, 2005 8:47 am

...on 2k SE-V6 5-speed manual.

..appreciate any feedback on what to expect on the way to 150k (or 200k)

.....how can I expect my clutch to last? (car is stock; I drive like the average 40-year old: not fast, not slow...only burn rubber in low gear now and then when the weight shifts rearward on sudden clutch engagement at a stop........)

Thanks.......ez

I have a 2k SE V6 5-speed manual also and just turned 104k. I'd be interested to know how long the original clutch lasts as well.

You should be getting close, I had less than 1mm of disc left at 115k when I replaced it. You should be able to tell when it is getting close though. I noticed slipping when I would get on it, but not during normal driving.

I think NA 1mz's will go 300k plus w/o internal engine work, but sensors will wear out and they still need regular maintenance. I would not want to keep the same car for that many miles though.
