Chrome Tailight Lining

Is there an outfit that sells aftermarket chrome rings that line around the tailights. I think that would look cool on a Solara, but I haven't heard of anyone doing that. Anyone got any knowledge on this? Thanks!

Red02Solara,

Im 98% sure no one makes what you are requesting. My advice would be to go to like Pepboys and get Chrome bumper trim (it comes in a box rolled up, with 3m tape) and just try to line it around the tail light yourself. I put it around my wheel well back in the day (Milton HATED it, haha)

Sorry, but there are some young punks on this board. (or at least they act that way.)

I think it could accent the window trim nicely, but it could look tacky. Only way to tell would be to just do it. I thought my fender trim accented it nicely, as did some of my friends, but the majority on here hated it, and once i got my kit i had to take it off anyway so yea.

I dunno, but I kinna like the way the chrome trim looks on the Aristo . . . but like Mandarin said, it's more for like a JDM kinna thing. I'd say try it and see what you get. Good luck dude.

ps. I agree that we all have different tastes . . . so we shouldn't get so pissed at the Newbs and others for expressin their opinions. C'mon guyz. Spread da ALOHA. Hahaha shootz den.

Also note that the aristo has the trim going around the whole car, further accenting it.
