fog lights

are our fog lights the same as the headlights? curious cause i want xeon lights for the fogs too.

Headlights are 9003(H4)
Foglights are 9005

Fogs are actually 9006. 9005 are Gen 1.5 highbeams.

Gen 1.5 lowbeam headlights are 9006 as well, so if you have a Gen 1.5, yes they are the same bulbs.

i have a 2000 sle, is that a gen 1 or 1.5?

you have a gen 1... fogs are 9006 but you can make 9005 fit... i think 9005 are brighter... theres a tutorial on how to make the 9005 fit in the socket... have to find the link...

Woops! So sorry. I have 9005 bulbs retrofitted, but stock is 9006. Sorry once again.

I also retrofited 9005s. I didnt really notice any difference, but maybe thats because my HIDs were contrasting too much.

At first, i really wanted to get the best and coolest lights. but $3 a pair on ebay will do. I bought two sets incase they are crap.

i just bought the night shadz stuff too. flash i like the way you did yours. im gonna do some eye lids and custom painted tail lights. ill post pics.

cool. did you get a special kind of black? the company just called me and asked what kind of black i want. I had told them i want cc 209 but im not sure they are that detailed.

ya, i jsut called her and she was confused by what i wanted. she thought i wanted caliper paint. i told her it was for lenses and shes like 'o, ok, well this will work', so its on its way. i have a very cool plan for the shade. hope it works out.
